Legal
Privacy policy
Effective July 1, 2026
ASCEND is in early access, and this is an early, plain-English version of our privacy policy. It describes what we actually do today. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and will be updated before general availability.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and any profile details you add (like a display name), used to sign you in and run your account.
- Planner content — the tasks, habits, events, stats, and APEX conversations you create. This is your data; we store it so the app works.
- Waitlist data — if you join the waitlist, your email plus the campaign parameters (UTM tags and referral codes) attached to the link you used, so we know which channels are working.
How we use it
To run the product: sign-in, syncing your planner, generating AI planning suggestions from your own planner context, and sending waitlist or beta updates you asked for. We do not sell your data and we do not run ad-tracker pixels.
Who processes it
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
- Stripe — processes payments if you purchase a subscription. We never see or store your card number.
- AI processing — planner and APEX intelligence runs through our private AI platform. Messages flagged by our safety classifier are not stored in your conversation history.
Your choices
You can stop using ASCEND at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or to have your account and data deleted, email us and we will handle it manually while self-serve tools are still being built.
